Sakakawea Medical Center ancillary services will be closed for outpatient appointments on Friday, December 24, and Friday, December 31.
SMC Urgent Care will be closed on Saturday, December 25, and Saturday, January 1. If you are in need of immediate care, please report to the emergency room.
Vaccinations are now open to the general public. Individuals 18 years of age and older are eligible to receive their vaccine at Coal Country Community Health Center. The following vaccines are available at all CCCHC locations:
Stepping On is a falls prevention workshop where trained leaders coach participants to recognize their risk of falling and help build the balance, strength, and practical skills they need to avoid a fall.
SMC has teamed up with the UND Center for Rural Health, Coal Country Community Health Center, Custer Health, Hilltop Home of Comfort and Knife River Care Center to gather information about the communities we serve and learn more about how local services are used. The results of this survey will be used to develop a plan to improve and expand the care we provide.
