Main Entrance Hours Temporarily Closed To Accomodate Construction Activities

Effective Thursday, October 5th the Main Entrance of SMC that is currently being used to access the clinic, hospital and outpatient services will be temporarily closed until regular business hours on Monday, October 9th to accommodate construction activities. All staff, visitors and patients will be required to access the hospital for outpatient and/or clinic services through the Emergency Entrance during this time period.

Sakakawea Medical Center has moved into the newly constructed Sakakawea Medical Center located directly south of the old facility. Please use the northwest door for all services including Emergency services. Main Galleria is open 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. After hours, patients and visitors are to ring the buzzer for assistance.

Since 1941, the residents of Dunn, Mercer and Oliver counties have relied on Hazen Memorial Hospital Association – DBA (doing business as) Sakakawea Medical Center (SMC) – for quality care. This community‐owned, not‐for‐profit organization has endured healthcare changes and all profits are reinvested back into the community’s healthcare needs.
