The Annual Meeting of the Hazen Memorial Hospital Association will be held on Thursday, October 27 at Hazen City Hall. Free blood pressure screenings will begin at 5:00 p.m. Supper will be served at 5:30 p.m., with the business meeting following at 6:00 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

Giving Hearts Day is a 24-hour fundraising event for charities in North Dakota and northwest Minnesota. SMC has teamed up with the UND Center for Rural Health, Coal Country Community Health Center, Custer Health, Hilltop Home of Comfort and Knife River Care Center to gather information about the communities we serve and learn more about how local services are used. The results of this survey will be used to develop a plan to improve and expand the care we provide.
