Mental Health First Aid Training

1 in 3 Americans will be diagnosed with a mental health condition this year. This course teaches people how to give first aid to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis situation and/or who are in the early stages of a mental health disorder. Join us on Friday, April 12, from 8 a.m. ‐ 5 p.m. at the Energy Wellness Center in Beulah. To register call Melissa at 7018736108. The cost of this course is free if you live in the service area or have been a patient at the clinic in the last year. Out of service area cost of this training is $50.

LeadLocal — April 4, 9:00 a.m. ‐ 4:00 p.m., Beulah Civic Center

LeadLocal is training for aspiring, elected and appointed leaders serving on boards, councils and committees. The training will help participants feel better prepared to serve; recognize components of an effective meeting; understand different personality styles and how they can effectively work together; and use effective tools when dealing with conflict. Sakakawea Medical Center: Innovation in Training

Caring for the community is a long-standing tradition at Sakakawea Medical Center (SMC). Founded more than 68 years ago, they strive to care for all by offering health, healing and a better quality of life. SMC is a critical access hospital, licensed for 13 beds, and a 34-bed licensed basic care facility. SMC serves the communities, residents and visitors of Dunn, Mercer and Oliver Counties, and is in the heart of rural Mercer County and housed in the City of Hazen.

Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

Join us on Friday, February 10th from 8 AM ‐ 5 PM for an 8 hour public education program to introduce participants to the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents, builds understanding of the importance of early intervention, and teaches individuals how to help an adolescent in crisis or experiencing a mental health challenge.
